Conference Overview:
Hof University presents itself as a premier platform for a conference of national and international experts in the field of narrow fabrics and smart textiles. Over two days, leading researchers, industry experts, and innovators will gather to discuss the latest advances, machinery, and application areas in the fields of narrow fabrics and functional/textile technologies.
This conference enters its fourth edition, continuing to serve as a vital platform for presenting cutting-edge research and industry developments. Attendees will have ample opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on the state of the art, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
Additionally, the event provides a unique networking environment that brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, university professors, and students in a single setting to facilitate knowledge transfer and the development of partnerships.
What to Expect:
The event will commence with pre-courses in Münchberg, featuring a guided tour of our campus and machinery park. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a variety of 3D braiding machines as well as a comprehensive selection of weaving machines. This dynamic tour, which includes operational machinery, will allow attendees to experience the capabilities of narrow textiles firsthand. Throughout the tour and during the subsequent social gathering, participants can engage with machine operators and researchers, posing questions and gaining insights.
Following this, the conference will take place over the next two days in Hof, where the latest industry innovations and research highlights from the past two years will be presented and discussed. A poster exhibition will showcase recent research findings in a concise and professional manner. Additionally, an evening dinner on the first day of the conference offers an excellent opportunity to network, foster new contacts, and strengthen existing partnerships.
Overall, the event aims to serve as a catalyst for new collaborations, product development and enhancement, as well as the initiation of joint projects and partnerships.
