Paving the Path for Sustainable Textile Education: BUTEX and Hof University Join Forces

Both Bachelor and Master students of the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) now have the opportunity to study one or two semesters at the University of applied sciences Hof in Germany while collecting credits that will be recognised at home on the basis of an official transcript of records. 
 
Last week, at the premises of BUTEX, the two institutions signed a cooperation agreement on student and faculty exchanges as well as joint research and organisation of events. It follows a close collaboration between the two institutions in sustainable curriculum development and faculty trainings in the framework of the ongoing GIZ project HELD (Higher Education and Leadership Development for Sustainable Textiles in Bangladesh). 
 
Now it is about celebrating truly sustainable cooperation that goes beyond development project boundaries!
