Over two days, leading researchers, industry experts, and innovators will gather to discuss the latest advances, machinery, and application areas in the fields of narrow fabrics and functional/textile technologies.
This conference enters its fourth edition, continuing to serve as a vital platform for presenting cutting-edge research and industry developments. Attendees will have ample opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on the state of the art, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
Additionally, the event provides a unique networking environment that brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, university professors, and students in a single setting to facilitate knowledge transfer and the development of partnerships.
What to Expect:
A Get-Together will take place on the day before the conference, 31 August 2026, offering participants the opportunity to start the event in an inspiring atmosphere.
The evening will include a guided tour of the Münchberg campus, providing exclusive insights into the machine halls, technical facilities, and the machinery park. Participants will be able to observe a variety of 3D braiding machines as well as a comprehensive range of weaving machines in operation, offering a unique opportunity to experience the capabilities of narrow textiles firsthand. The tour will also highlight current research activities at the Institute for Materials Science (ifm).
Participation in the Get-Together is free of charge. Attendees are kindly asked to simply indicate their participation when registering for the conference.
Following this, the conference will take place over the next two days in Hof, where the latest industry innovations and research highlights from the past two years will be presented and discussed. A poster exhibition will showcase recent research findings in a concise and professional manner.
