Do you want to attend a job fair well prepared and make valuable contacts? Are you wondering how to approach employers with confidence and introduce yourself professionally in just a few sentences? Do you want your CV to create a strong first impression at the company booth?
Then this workshop is the right place for you!

The workshop covers the following topics:

• Preparing effectively for a job fair and defining clear personal goals
• Approaching companies with confidence and making a positive first impression
• Your self-introduction at the job fair: structure, content, and examples
• Your CV as a door opener: structure, content, and layout for the job fair
• Researching companies, asking the right questions, and following up after the fair

What makes this workshop special: Theory is followed immediately by practical application. You will develop your personal self-introduction for the job fair, review your CV with a job fair focus, and prepare concrete strategies for successful conversations with employers. There will also be sufficient time for individual questions.

Trainer: Julia Barden, psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of companies such as Deutsche Bahn, Commerzbank and BASF Group.

Interessierten Studierenden und Alumni bietet der Career Service jedes Jahr in einem Sonderseminar die Möglichkeit zur Vorbereitung auf die Prüfung zum geprüften Ausbilder / zur geprüften Ausbilderin (AdA-Prüfung) nach AEVO (Ausbildereignungsverordnung).

Zur Info-Veranstaltung bekommen Sie Informationen zum Inhalt, Ablauf und den Kosten des Kurses zur Ausbildereignungsprüfung. Der AdA-Kurs findet wie folgt statt: 15.02. bis 26.02.2027. Die erste Woche findet online statt, die zweite Woche in Präsenz an der Hochschule Hof.

Ab der Infoveranstaltung ist die Kursanmeldung möglich (career@hof-university.de), wobei eine Teilnahme an der Info-Veranstaltung keine Voraussetzung für die Kursteilnahme ist.

We will also touch on important legal matters you should know when applying for work. This session is all about giving you practical advice and confidence as you take your first steps into the German job market.

Im Workshop „Business Dinner“ wird während eines gemeinsamen Drei-Gänge-Menüs Business-Etikette geübt und verinnerlicht. Zu den Themen gehören angemessene Tischgespräche, Small Talk und Tischmanieren (z. B. Sitzordnung, die Rolle des Gastgebers, der richtige Umgang mit Gläsern, Besteck und Servietten sowie die Art und Weise, bestimmte Gerichte zu essen).

Trainerin: Cindy Seifert, zertifizierte Etikette-Trainerin und Business-Etikette-Coach, mit über 20 Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Unternehmenswelt, einschließlich Führungsaufgaben.

Die Teilnahmegebühr für diesen Workshop beträgt 25 € (für das Drei-Gänge-Menü). Die Anmeldung sowie die Bezahlung der Teilnahmegebühr erfolgt am 20. Oktober, von 13:00 - 14:00 Uhr im Raum A116. Bitte beachten Sie, dass nur 14 Plätze verfügbar sind. First come, first serve!
