LinkedIn is increasingly being used by HR representatives to find and win suitable candidates for the company. A relatively new approach is to address and engage potential employees via LinkedIn at a very early stage. But how can I make my profile attractive to employers in this early phase of my career? What matters most? In this event, you will learn how to use LinkedIn effectively to build your personal brand and start your career correctly during or after your time at university.

Interessierten Studierenden und Alumni bietet der Career Service jedes Jahr in einem Sonderseminar die Möglichkeit zur Vorbereitung auf die Prüfung zum geprüften Ausbilder / zur geprüften Ausbilderin (AdA-Prüfung) nach AEVO (Ausbildereignungsverordnung).

Zur Info-Veranstaltung bekommen Sie Informationen zum Inhalt, Ablauf und den Kosten des Kurses zur Ausbildereignungsprüfung. Der AdA-Kurs findet wie folgt statt: 16.02. bis 27.02.2026 an der Hochschule Hof.

Ab der Infoveranstaltung ist die Kursanmeldung möglich (career@hof-university.de), wobei eine Teilnahme an der Info-Veranstaltung keine Voraussetzung für die Kursteilnahme ist.

Finding the right job as an international student can feel challenging, but the right tools make all the difference. In this talk, we will look at how to search for jobs effectively, read and understand job adverts, and use networking to open doors. We will also touch on important legal matters you should know when applying for work. This session is all about giving you practical advice and confidence as you take your first steps into the German job market.

In einer zunehmend digitalisierten Welt spielt Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) eine immer wichtigere Rolle, insbesondere im Bewerbungsprozess. In diesem Workshop wird Carolin Martin von Karrierecoach München die Grundlagen der KI in der Personalauswahl beleuchten und zeigen, wie KI-Tools effektiv nutzbar sind, um den Bewerbungsprozess zu optimieren.

Themen sind:

  • Einführung in KI-Tools
  • Vorteile und Herausforderungen aus Sicht von Unternehmen und BewerberInnen
  • Einsatz von Screening-Bots für Lebensläufe (CV Parser)
  • Optimierung des eigenen Bewerbungs-Profils für KI-Systeme

Internships are excellent opportunities to gain important professional experience, to develop professionally and personally and to find out which tasks or which job might be suitable for your future career path. However, there are also pitfalls and it is up to you to ensure that the internship offers added value to both you and your employer. This workshop will also give you lots of tips on how to organize yourself well, make contacts and position yourself. Especially when you are an international student applying for an internship in Germany, it might be interesting for you to learn more about the typical German business conduct and what to expect when working in Germany. But we will cover also general aspects of how to be successful in your internship which is why we invite German and international students to join this course.
