Intensive German B2 course “German language and culture”
As an international student, it is important to quickly acquire sufficient German language skills to be able to network well in the German economy. Companies expect you to have a good level of German. Especially during the short master’s program, this is best done intensively during the lecture-free period. Socio-political aspects will be integrated, including an excursion to a labor market relevant or socio-political actor. This will also provide contact with the German language in everyday situations.
Registration will be possible from April 24th until Mai 17th
Course details:
-Duration: The course starts with a mandatory preparation meeting online on August 4. The classes are taking place at Campus Hof from August 10 to September 7, 2025, Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.
-German Language Level: In the course you will acquire B2. The course ends with a written exam on Monday, September 7th.
-Language requirements: The German course is suitable for international students who will have successfully completed German B1 (as part of a Graduate school study program) or B1.2 (all other study programs). Students from German B2.1 and German B2.2 could also apply for a slot. However, students from German B1 will have priority.
-Other requirements: You need to be a full-time international student at Hof university and can attend the course on-site in Hof. Exchange students cannot be considered.
-Participants: The course is limited to 25 participants. This allows you to work intensively on your German language skills for 5 weeks.
-Price: The course is free of charge.
We ask for your understanding that we CANNOT consider you for the course if:
-You are an exchange student.
-You cannot be in Hof at the time of the course (on-site attendance is mandatory).
-You are no longer a student at Hof University at the time of the course.
-You do not meet the above-mentioned German language levels at the beginning of the course.
-You cannot attend the whole course on-site.
